The Rotterdam Open (now known as the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament) has been a popular stop on the men’s tennis circuit for over 40 years. This ATP World Tour 500 event draws some of the best players in the game – like World’s No. 4 Andy Murray, who’s favored at 2/1 to win his second career title on the Ahoy Rotterdam hardcourts.

Murray, who joined the tennis elite with victories at the 2012 US Open and 2013 Wimbledon Championships, is on the rebound after a difficult 2014 campaign. He now appears fully recovered from the back surgery he had in September 2013, and he kicked off the New Year by reaching the finals of the Australian Open, where he lost in four sets to Novak Djokovic.
The level of competition isn’t quite as daunting at Rotterdam. The second favorite at press time is World’s No. 8 Stan Wawrinka at 4/1, who lost to Djokovic in the semifinals at Melbourne. But this should be a tricky matchup for Murray if they meet in the final. Away from grass courts, these two players have split 12 matches between them, with Wawrinka winning the last two, including their quarterfinal at the 2013 US Open.
