The Monday Night football game hits the Big Apple as the Chicago Bears will travel to New York to take on the Jets.
The Jets lost a game last week against the Green Bay Packers that they had a legitimate shot of winning. A botched time out call and failure to communicate were the biggest problems for this up and coming team. On the field they played great football with a smothering defense and a solid running game. This week the defense will get a huge test as the face two of the best offensive weapons in football in Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.
The Chicago Bears may have had the most impressive win of the week as they came from behind to take down the San Francisco 49ers. This was a big win against a tough team on the road. Quarterback Jay Cutler took a huge hit early in the game but responded with big scores by finding Marshall multiple times in the end zone.
If the Bears want to win they will need to play better defense in the red zone. The Bears allowed a league-high 141 rush yards on zone-read plays in Week 1, and since the start of the 2013 season they have allowed the most yards on the zone read in the NFL. The Jets are a team that can run the ball.
