CEO and Executive Producer of the Sports Journey Broadcast Network
Lake began his broadcasting career in 1991 while attending Penn State University. As the Student Sports Director for WPSU Radio at Penn State, he served as the play by play announcer for WPSU's football broadcast. After completing his studies at PSU he attended Georgetown University, in Washington, DC. He worked for ESPN Radio in Baltimore (ESPN 1300) and ESPN Radio in Florida (ESPN 1060 and 1080). While at ESPN Radio in Florida he created and and Co-hosted two sports talk shows that gained a steady listening audience and were broadcast in front of a live studio audience at the ESPN Club at Disney World. He created the Sports Journey Broadcast Network based off of the success he had on his own show "Sports Journey with Lake Lewis." His show has been heard on many ESPN affiliates as well as other independent radio outlets. He has interviewed some of the biggest personalities in sports ranging from coaches to players. Lake created Sports Journey to give aspiring media talent an opportunity to be heard and also provide quality broadcasting that is sincere and trust worthy.

Ross Benjamin is the CEO of RB Wins Inc. a sports handicapping and information firm located in Weston, Florida. Ross has made his mark in the industry as a result of his many accomplishments and awards that he has attained as a professional sports handicapper. Due to his profound professionalism and integrity Ross’ expert opinions became highly valued by sports talk radio stations throughout the country from ESPN, Clear Channel Radio, and Fox Sports affiliates. In doing so Ross not only exhibited the ability to educate listeners on the fine points of sports handicapping but he showed a well diverse ability to voice very strong and at times controversial opinions on the sports world in general. Paula founded IncidentalContact.com a sports learning site for women which is home to her column and podcasts called the Daily Dose of Duffy She is the author of audio books about basketball,football and baseball in "A Women's Guide To" series and offers coaching sessions on all three sports that can be purchased from the website. She is also an attorney and with frequent collisions between stars and the legal system. She has become a "go to" commentator, not just on top sports talk radio stations around the country but also for TV news shows such as MSNBC live, Court TV and Fox News. She became known as Leeza Gibbons' Resident Sportstress on the radio program Leeza live and regularly contributes columns to sports related websites such as FemmeFan.com. She has been profiled in major newspapers and magazines such as the LA Times,NY Post, Women's Day, Cosmopolitan and Delta Sky Magazine. Patrick Gallen

Patrick Gallen is one of the newest members of the Sports Journey Radio team. From October of 2007 until July 2008, Pat worked in the production department for the National Basketball Association in Secaucus, NJ. In the summer of 2006, he got his first taste of the sports industry as an intern at Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia with the show “Daily News Live.” Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pat went on to West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Communications Studies with an emphasis in Journalism. In addition to his work with SportsJourney, Pat is currently a Senior Writer for Thinkphillysports.com, as well as the Philadelphia Phillies Examiner for Examiner.com. Since June of ’08, Pat has also been a regular guest on The Other Side with Ari Bluestein as a lead NBA analyst. Ari Bluestein

Ari Bluestein is the CEO and founder of Sports Fan Base.com, an interactive online community for sports fans with features such as Predictions, Trivia, Blogs and Polls. Ari began his career in radio while an undergraduate student at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where he was the Sports Director at WRRC 107.7 FM, the school’s radio station, for almost 3 years. While working at WRRC, Ari hosted two shows: A sports talk show discussing national, local and school sports topics and a show entitled “The Bronc Breakdown” where he interviewed Rider student-athletes. Ari currently is the Senior College Sports Writer for ThinkPhillySports.com and the Philadelphia College Basketball Examiner for Examiner.com. Ari also plays semi-pro baseball in the Philadelphia area and is also an Assistant Coach at Cheltenham High School in Cheltenham, PA. Jeff Little

Jeff Little is one of the newest members of the Sports Journey Broadcast team. Jeff started his career as a local DJ, in radio in 1994 with KCLAFM of the American Radio Network. Jeff was the host of the NFL Blitz during his first sports radio show. He got his first taste of the sports industry while working with Jeff Biggs of AM830 in Los Angeles while he was with AM570. In addition to his work with Sports Journey, Jeff currently is a senior writer for BleacherReport.com; he is also a writer for TheLakersNation.com, and SocalSportsHub.com. Roman Oben
Former 12 Year NFL Starting Left Tackle
Previously Roman played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns San Diego Chargers, and won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2003, Roman was honored with the Vince Lombardi Champion for community service in his hometown of Washington D.C. Roman supports many worthy causes including the United Way and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Roman played college football at the University of Louisville, lettering in football and track and field. In 2006 The University of Louisville, placed his No. 72 jersey in the school's Ring of Fame. Roman also has a passion for writing as evident in his Blog Articles. Tia Bennett

Tia has proven to be an excellent interviewer as a freelance sports writer. She has interviewed some of the NFL's and NBA's top athletes. She interned at Fox Sports Net's "The Best Damn Sports Show Period", and at CBS Sports in Los Angeles, CA. She also studied Sports Broadcasting at Santa Monica College and has a BS degree from Kean University in Management Science w/an emphasis in Business. Through her love for sports & writing background, Tia will be a nice addition to the Sports Journey family.
Nic Askew
Host of Tennis Talk (Washington, DC)
Nic is the current Director of Programs for the Prince George’s Tennis & Education Foundation (PGTEF). He is also the Assistant Tennis Coach for Howard University, located in Washington DC. As a former NCAA D1 two sport scholarship athlete (Swimming & Tennis), Nic has many accomplishments to his credit including; Captain, Six time Conference Champion, Record Holder, and Four time MVP (3 Swimming and 1 Tennis). After graduation from Howard University, Nic has become quite accomplished as a College Coach and Teaching Professional as well. With PGTEF, Nic is proud to have exposed, for the very first time, the sport of tennis to over 2000 at-risk students in 2008 alone. As a High Performance Coach, he has developed top ranked District, State, Sectional, and National players. As a College Coach, Nic has worked with top players from across the globe. Nic is a member of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) as a certified Professional and a board member for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Mid-Atlantic Section’s Junior Competition Committee. Most recently, Nic was honored as the 2008 USTA Maryland’s Professional of the Year.
Jeff Bergren
Host of The Sports Report (Michigan)
Jeff began his broadcasting career in 2006 for West Virginia MetroNews covering Marshall University Football and Basketball. Jeff appeared weekly on the MetroNews Sportsline radio show as an analyst for the Thundering Herd and worked as a sports writer for the station's website. In 2007, Jeff covered the West Virginia Mountaineers football program during the Fiesta Bowl. In addition, Jeff was a sports reporter for the Charleston Daily Mail newspaper. Jeff has also worked as a play-by-play announcer for WBNZ Radio in Michigan covering college and high school football and basketball while working as the Editor at a weekly newspaper in the area. Jeff received his bachelor's degree in journalism and business from Southern Connecticut State University. Upon graduation, he worked in public relations, in advertising, and as a marketing executive for a Fortune 100 Financial Services company before beginning his broadcasting career.
