Before we get started, you need to have the desire to succeed and the knowledge of knowing the sports betting world? As long as you have some sports knowledge and the passion to wanting to succeed, you can own a successful business using the Phoenix Sports Ticket H-A-P program which stands for “Host Appreciation Program”.
Let’s go with a step-by-step on how to start your successful business and create your very own HAP program.
Step 1: Create your profile. In order to be able to run your operation at the PST Streakcatcher, you need to sign up for a username and password. Proceed to Step #2 if you’ve already done this. If this is your first time, then sign up here.
Step 2: Once you’ve created a profile and logged into your account, go the link that says “My Groupies”. This link is located at the top of the page above the “buddy points” box.
Step 3: Once you are on the “My Groupies” page, you will see a link that says “Create my own forum”. Click that link and put a group name where it asks you to put a group name. Use something that will be related to your forum. Put any group name in that text box and if you already have buddies on your buddy tree, then select your buddies and then click on “create group”. If you don’t have anybody on your buddy tree, don’t worry, you can still create a forum without having any buddies on your list.
Step 4: Now that you’ve created a “group name”, it’s time to create your forum. On the next page you will see a message that looks like this.

Click on the link that says “Click here to create your Forum”.
Step 5: At this step, you have to think what will the people at your posting forum be talking about? Do you want people chatting about all sports, NFL Football only, NHL Hockey, College Hoops or Football? This is very important, because when people search for a forum, they will want to know what type of forum you are running. Once you’ve picked your “type of forum”, proceed to name your forum and put a brief description.
Forum Description: The Big Bad Ass forum is a place where people just shoot the breeze and talk about sports betting. Join this free forum today!
Then hit the “create your forum” button.

Click the “Go to your forum” link.
Step 7: Now that your forum is created, click the “link” name of your forum. In this example, my test forum is called Bad Ass Forum. Click that link and you will be taken inside your forum where you will be able to “post new message” and then people will be able to read your forum by clicking on the “view all messages” link.
Congrats, your posting forum has now been created.
Now that your forum has been created, it’s time to get you set up for your HAP program and to show you the administration tools you can use to keep control of your posting forum.
In order to get to your “My Groupies Admin Control Panel”, you will need to go to the “My Groupies” front page. Click on the link at the top that says “My Groupies”. On this page, look for a link that says “My Groupies Admin Control Panel”. Please click on this link.

My Groupies Community: This link will take you to your forum.
Members: This will show you the members who belong to your forum.
Date Created: This is the date you created your forum. Think of it as the day that changed your life! Think positive.
Active Members: This will show you how many active members you have in your forum.
Show Members: This link will show you all your members and this is where you can remove any trouble makers from your forum.
View Forum: Click the link that says “forum list (1)” and a pop up browser will appear. This is where you can edit or change your forum name and your forum description. Or, if you want to delete your forum and start a new one, you can do it from this location as well.
Delete Group: This link will delete your group and your forum. Be very careful. Make sure you want to delete your forum and group first before you take this action. Because once it’s gone, it won’t come back
Pending Request: The most important link in your tool box is this link. You will need to check this link every day and sometimes 2 to 3 times a day to approve new members wanting to join your forum. You will see a number in this column; click on the number and then click accept or decline the new member. But you should click accept, as you don’t want to be turning away new members.
HAP: The HAP link is your revenue generating program. As you know, HAP stands for Host Appreciation Program. You will put your banner code and banner link information in this section. Ron Raymond will help you get set up if you need his assistance. You can reach Ron at ronraymond@rogers.com and he will be more than happy to get you going and guide you along. Please see the HAP tips at the end of this document.
Send Mail: If you have a message you would like to email your posting forum members, you can do so by emailing them via this link. The emails you send from this forum admin area will only go to friends who have joined your forum.
Add Buddies: Each day you might get request from other users to join your “buddy tree” and because they are on your buddy tree, doesn’t mean they are part of your forum. This is why, anytime you accept a new friend to your buddy tree, it’s important you come to your control panel and give them access to your forum. Remember, the more buddies you make, the more busier your posting forum will be.
You know that great saying, “build it and they will come”. Well, have patient; they will need to find you first! Look at the very top of the page; you will see a link that says “Forum Search”. This is like the Google of the PST, where new members will click on this link to find a forum to join. That’s why it’s important to have as much interaction as possible in your forum, because the higher you rank, the more popular you will become and the more successful you will become financially. In order to make this page, you need to have 10 active threads in your forum.
*Note: Don’t look for your forum name on the “Forum Search” page when you create your forum, you NEED 10 NEW THREADS to be on this search page. Once you hit 10 new threads, people will then find you and join your forum via this search page.
When a new person clicks on the “Forum Search” page, they will see 3 actions.
Join this forum: New users will click the “join this forum” link and you the forum owners must check your admin area, click on the number in the “pending request” column and accept your new members.
Pending: Once a new user clicks the “join this forum” link, they will see a “pending” message and once the owner of that forum accepts their request, they will see that message change to approved.
Approved: Once a new user joins a forum and the owner of that forum approves their request, they will see the forum they joined in their “My Groupies” page. Click on “My Groupies” and you will see the forum you just joined.
*Note: That’s why it’s important to make as many buddies as possible. The more buddies you make at the PST, the more popular and quicker your forum numbers will build up. Invite buddies and family members to your buddy tree and then invite them to your new online forum business. Get your buddies to support you or even team up with them to help you build your new online empire. Remember, two heads are better then one and every batman needs a robin!
Welcome to your H.A.P. Program (Host Appreciation Program)
Let’s face it, its very time consuming to run a successful forum and why not be compensated for your efforts. Therefore, I would like to introduce the “Host Appreciation Program”, where you can put any revenue sharing program on your (H.A.P) page. The purpose of this page is to generate traffic to your affiliate program and hopefully it converts into successful revenue.
All you need to do is join any affiliate program and then return to your “My Groupies admin control panel” page and upload your tracking information. Why stop at just Sportsbook, Casino’s and Poker affiliate programs? Why not try sites like Amazon.com or if you have an EBay store, promote your store. If you own a business, why not link back to your site.
The money you generate from your H.A.P. program is yours to keep and the PST will not interfere with your (H.A.P) program. Take advantage of this situation, and consider this a great opportunity into a dream of a life time.
How do you get started? Just visit any Sportsbook, Casino, Poker site on the net or any other affiliate program you wish, and then look for their affiliate links page which is normally on their front page and then just sign up. Once you’ve registered, you should have access to their banner section which you will be assigned a tracking URL and came back to your (H.A.P) admin page and upload your information.
*Note: The only Sportsbook you cannot be affiliated with is “Bookmaker.com or BetCRIS.com” as they are the main sponsor at the PST.
Once you’ve signed up with your affiliate partner, they will give you tracking information that will look something like this.

*Note: In order to see how much money you’ve made, you will login each day to check your stats and how many players you’ve signed up via your referral program. If you need help understanding your affiliate program, contact the affiliate manager at the site you’ve joined and they will walk you through their program. Or, check for the FAQ on that site.
Tip #1: Remember, you can only cut and paste your affiliate code and banners in your forum, but you can also promote your affiliate code and banners in the “blogs” section. If you’ve written a good article, then why not put your affiliate codes in the articles or at the end of your articles. The only place where you cannot promote your banners or affiliate codes is in other members forums. You don’t want them coming into your forum and promoting their affiliate banners, then don’t do it in their forums please.
Tip #2: The more buddies you have on your buddy tree, the more people you can send out the affiliate banners and codes too. If you have 200 buddies on your buddy tree and you say to your affiliate manager, I have 200 friends on my buddy list, can you give my friends a 50% sign up bonus with you if they join within the next 24 hrs using the “PST BUDDY” PROMO CODE? What’s the worst they can say? NO or YES, let’s do it. Your affiliate manager should be your best business friends, besides me of course. ;) The more carrots he can give you to dangle, the more rewards will come your way. Be persistent and always look out for your players. The more incentives you give them, the more they will trust you and respect you for looking out for their best interest.
Tip #3: Run promotional contest in your forums. Ask your affiliate manager for a free $50 betting account for a contest winner. Have a LAST MAN STANDING contest for your members and the winner receives a free $50 account from your affiliate Sportsbook or casino.
Tip #4: Think outside the box and get another affiliate aside from a Sportsbook or casino. Try a Poker site and schedule poker tournaments during the evening or weekends. The more people you have in your forum, the more tournaments you can run.
Tip #5: If there’s one word of advice or business advice I can give you friends, don’t become a coffee shop forum. Remember why your visitors are visiting your forum, they are here because you run a sports betting forum. Like any other sports bettor, they want information that will help them win, who gives a flying Pinocchio if A-Rod is better than Barry Bonds. Bottom line, ask yourself this question every day; “how are the people visiting my forum benefiting from my actions”. Am I giving them the tools and information necessary to succeed at sports betting? Don’t let people get their action by just giving picks; make sure people who are posting at your site are actually people who are betting. Who cares if they bet $2 on a game or $200,000 on a game, don’t turn your forum into fantasy land. Bottom line and as much as this might sound greedy, it’s all about making money, because why else are people visiting your forum? If people want to chat or hang around, go to DUNKIN DONUTS, this is about making money and sharing sports betting information. Be straight right off the bat. Free loaders will ruin your site and will bring a negative crowd behind them.

Those are the “interactive” links that will make or break you! In order for people to find your forum, they need to see you in their my groupies section and if they don’t find you there, they need to see you in the “forum search” page. Bloggin is a good way to promote your forum. Post articles each day and sign off with messages like “visit my bad add forum” or click this link for a 20% sign up bonus.
