2009 "Monaco Grand Prix" Predictions
The Jenson Button F1 show continues and this is starting to look like the year 2001 when Ferrari’s Michael Schumacher was winning every race and it got to a point where the casual fan would lose interest, because the same driver keeps on winning.
In fact, there’s a reason why Ferrari is complaining, it’s either they want to change to rules to where they feel more competitive or they aren’t use to being none-competitive in the race. Nevertheless, if Button and team Brawn-Mercedes keep winning races, you might see a decline in the average auto racing fan, but you’re die hard F1 fans will continue to watch.
As for this Sunday’s race, it’s the Monaco Grand Prix and Jenson Button is your favorite at +225, while Sebastien Vettel is the second place chalk at +300.
According to Wiki: The Monaco Grand Prix (French: Grand Prix de Monaco) is a Formula One race held each year on the Circuit de Monaco. Run since 1929, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (with which it forms the Triple Crown of Motorsport). The history, spectacle and glamour result in the race being considered "the jewel of the Formula One crown".
The race is held on a narrow course laid out in the streets of Monaco, with many elevation changes and tight corners as well as a tunnel, making it one of the most demanding tracks in Formula One.
Ron Raymond's Monaco Grand Prix Prediction
If you want to wager on the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend, put your money on the Lewis Hamilton at +1200. At this point of the F1 season, we are looking for value and betting on Jenson Button could be somewhat of a risk, as other drivers might try to take him out of the race, which leaves the field wide open.
How does the payout work? Lewis Hamilton is 12 to 1 odds, which means he would payout $1200 on every $100 wager.
