2009 "LifeLock 400" Predictions
The Good Ole boys get back to work this week and they will be racing at the Michigan International Speedway in the LifeLock 400. If you look at the past winners of this race, you can see it’s not as prestigious as the Daytona 500, as there’s been a new sponsor nearly every 3 years and from a fans point of view, it’s hard to take this race serious, because of the lack of support from the sponsors.
Tony Stewart is showing why he’s one of the top drivers in the circuit, as he won the Pocono 500 last weekend and he’s currently sitting at +1050 and is the 7th favorite this weekend. The odd on favorite to win this weekend is Jimmie Johnson at +550 with the #99 Car Carl Edwards is second at +600.
Once this race is over, the NASCAR teams will have to load up the trucks and hit the road for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA next weekend.
Detroit’s own Kid Rock will serve as Grand Marshal for the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, June 14 track officials announced today.
Kid Rock is quoted as saying; “I’m a huge race fan, so being asked to be Grand Marshal for the Michigan race to help kick off my summer tour with Red Stag seemed like a fun way to get the word out.”

LifeLock 400 History
The LifeLock 400 is the first of two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car races held at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan, the other being the 3M Performance 400. In 2006, 3M signed a three-year agreement to sponsor the race, but after one year moved its sponsorship to the August race. Starting with the 2008 race, LifeLock will have title sponsorship rights for three years pending the announcement by the speedway.[1] The LifeLock 400 was the name of the race formerly known as the Banquet 400 in 2007.

Odds To Win The 2009 Sprint Cup Championship
Every race is important, but the Sprint Cup Championship is equally to the drivers, as this is a team effort to win the Sprint Cup and even if you don’t win the race, it’s important to finish in the points, as NASCAR awards the Sprint Cup to the team with the most points at the end of the season. The Sprint Cup series driver’s race has taken another left turn this weekend, as Jimmie Johnson is now the favorite to win the 2009 Sprint Cup Series.
