| Might be a question many of you have been asking since my return here at Phoenix Sports. After the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act passed, it changed the dynamics of online handicapping. A lot of services closed their doors and I tried to remain open as long as I could, but life changes (mainly a divorce) put things on hold in a way.
I opened The Sports Bar in 1996 on geocities and it quickly grew into one of the largest handicapping services on the internet, The reason was simple; It was one of the first of it's kind.
Before, most people advertised their 900 services in sports schedules, magazines and newspapers. The internet changed it all. The service I ran grew from having a few dozen clients into well over 200 in a matter of months and it was strong for nearly 10 years. The industry saw the birth and fail of many online sportsbooks and casinos and after 2006, only a handful survived. These sites help drive and fund many of the handicapping sites on the internet.
With the stress of business, family, I went back to the basics and coached football... but three years later I wanted, longed to, get back into what I love to do... and that is handicap football, basketball and baseball.
So, I'm back and excited to be a part of Phoenix Sports. I'm back to prove what put me on the map is still there, the skills, the knowledge, the ability of handicapping games is as strong now as it was in 1996. I do bring a new weapon to my system and that is actually being in the trenches, coaching football.
Hopefully you'll sign up and try out my service once again. See what made The Sports Bar (name of my site) and myself a national award winner and a pioneer in the industry.
