The Indiana Pacers face a key game tonight at home against the Detroit Pistons.  The Pacers are 1.5 games back of the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and desperately need a win tonight. Sunday's win over the Spurs snapped a four-game losing streak for Indiana.  The Pacers got the game winner from Jamaal Tinsley with just 1.1 seconds left. "It just shows that they're fighting, and some people are openly questioning that," said head coach Rick Carlisle.  "I think tonight showed a lot in terms of their belief that this thing isn't over. We preach to our guys continuously, 'Hey, hang in there and give yourself a chance.' Some people are seeing it differently, but not me."

The Pistons are coming off a 94-88 win over Miami on Sunday. Richard Hamilton returned to the lineup after missing four games with a concussion and the flu, and scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half. He, coach Flip Saunders gave credit to the reserves for the win. "Our bench was great - not just from a scoring standpoint, but their energy," he said. "They gave the starters a chance to get some significant rest, and then win the game in the last four minutes."

The Pistons have a 3 1/2-game lead over the Cavaliers in the Central Division. The Pistons lost the first two meetings between these teams this season but got a 98-87 win on January 28th.
