NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game Ohio State (35-3) vs. Florida (34-5) 9:15 pm Eastern CBS SBG Global Opening Line: Florida – 4, Total 140.5
The two best teams in college basketball meet tonight in the NCAA Championship game as Ohio State takes on Florida. The Gators were the overall #1 seed in the tournament while Ohio State was the #1 ranked team to end the regular season. This is a rematch of an earlier game this season in which Florida routed the Buckeyes. It is also a rematch between schools as these two teams played for the NCAA football title just about three months ago. Florida is trying to become the first team since Duke in 1992 to repeat as men’s basketball champs, and the first ever to do it with the same starting lineup. SBG Global reports that early betting has the gambling public all over the Gators laying the points.
Ohio State defeated Georgetown on Saturday while Florida routed UCLA. "They're a very, very good team," Florida coach Billy Donovan said of Ohio State. "We got a chance to play them in December. It was a game where I think our team and their team has gotten better and improved as season has gone on." Florida won that game 86-60. The Buckeyes haven't lost since Jan. 9th at Wisconsin, a streak of 22 straight.
Florida is a 5 point favorite with a total of 140 at SBG Global.
