Two playoff bound teams meet in Detroit tonight as the Pistons host the Chicago Bulls.  Detroit is coming off a 100-85 win over Indiana last night that reduced their magic number for clinching home court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs to four. The Pistons turned a 14-point deficit against Detroit into a 23-point lead before settling for a 100-85 win. “It was embarrassing to come out like that, especially against a team we might play in the first round,” said Chauncey Billups. “It was embarrassing. There’s no excuse for it. It just happened. Our bench got us back in the game, played really well and at halftime we had another chance to right the ship. We came out a lot more aggressive in the third quarter and kind of took the game in our hands.”

“We played three pretty good quarters and one horrendous quarter,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. “That’s really the story of the game. Our undoing was the third quarter where we just struggled at both ends and Prince got it going. They lifted their level of play in the third quarter and we just weren’t able to match it.”

The Chicago Bulls are coming off a 105-97 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.  "We had some moments where we were sharp, but overall we clearly had some lag from the game yesterday,'' Chicago coach Scott Skiles said. “That's why you have to win these types of games.'' Luol Deng scored 30 points while Kirk Hinrich had 22 points.
